Clare is a Partner and heads the business services at Wolferstans. She has over 20 years experience specialising in commercial property work, including the sale and purchase of development land, acting for landlords and tenants and secured lending. Clare has acted on local re-generation projects, on collaboration agreements for clients with Plymouth City Council, and for banks, residential developers, an airport, a harbour authority, care home providers, investors, housing associations and tenants.

Clare's wealth of experience includes acting on the site assembly of land for a building for the Department of Work and Pensions and the sale of the completed and let building to an investment company for £14m. Other highlights are acting for care home providers with portfolios of homes, including acting on options for the development of new care homes and their sale and acquisition. In addition, she acted on the merger of Plymouth College and St Dunstan's independent schools forming a new charity to run the merged enterprise. Clare has advised on Section 64 grant properties including the purchase of properties from the Secretary of State and on land acquisitions for LIFT projects.

Clare is a member of the Plymouth Business Area Council, a governor of the Drake Foundation and assists with the Pro-Help Division of Business in the Community. Also, Clare is a Governor of Plymouth College.

Outside of work Clare enjoys spending time with her family, reading voraciously, riding her horse, skiing on the easy slopes, off road cycling and is a regular theatre goer.
