James is a Partner and Head of the Employment Team. James is an employment specialist who acts for both employers and employees in relation to all aspects of employment and industrial relations. James is an experienced Tribunal advocate but spends a significant proportion of his time delivering business advice to employers. James' client base ranges from individual clients and small businesses to national institutions and public sector organisations.

James is also the Head of Wolferstans Education Department. His clients include Plymouth University and a number of local Primary and Secondary Schools.

James is a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association.

Outside of work James is a keen sportsman. He plays cricket and football for local teams in addition to enjoying surfing and wake boarding.
